also we lose to the falcons by a touchdown but only lose to peyton manning and the defending champs by a point each apparently.

If our defense doesn't improve then he could be right. But I look at the fact that we were 1-6 in games decided by 7 or fewer points and still won 6 games. If we split those games we should have won 9. I also look at the fact that we are playing the NFC East and McDermott has played those teams before and knows their weaknesses. Add that we also play the AFC West and Rivera knows them very well and I think we have the possibility of doing better than expected. I think the defense will be pretty good.

Yeah he pretty much nailed that prediction. I see you guys picking up wins against Oakland and KC and then winning one more between Philly and San Diego.
