blind prisco squirrel found a nut. he predicted we'd suck and a team that won 10+ games last year would win 10+ this year.

Exactly. It's a lucky guess. Really lucky considering that last year we couldn't win because of the Defense, and this year we shore up the Defense but now the offense is terrible thanks to Chud doing what Chud does.
No one could have predicted Chud would go full derp potato after putting together a top 5 offense last year.

Clean house has to happen the day after the final game of the season.

My nuts are few and far between.
I just never felt confident about this season.

so?I think the point, rayzor, is that homers like you are wrong a lot. You don't know everything, and anyone who doubts the Panthers ability is not a blind fuzzy rodent or someone who has gone full retard. He felt the Panthers weren't much better than a SIX win team last season and he will be right. You scoffed at that notion, probably thoguht we'd win 11 games, and you were dead wrong.
if believing in my panthers is wrong, i don't want to be right.
the thing is people thought it would crush homers if they fell on their face again. truth is, i'm used to it. doesn't phase me and now i'm back where i was a couple years ago hoping that this franchise gets it right next time and, like a homer, believing that it can.
things will turn around at some point. like i said early in the year...if it doesn't now, it will soon enough. not a big deal. i'm an optimist...and a realist.

i felt confident that the issue from last year, the defense, would get straight. My nuts are few and far between.

where i went wrong was in not expecting the offense to drop off the face of the planet with pretty much the same cast of characters as last year.
honest question for the "realists" in here. did they see the defense rising up and the offense being the problem? is it working out how you thought? not trying to start anything. just wondering.

Oh hell no. I thought we would be in 38-34 type games all year. I figured the defense would be losing us games, not vice versa.
This trend has been going on since 2009. The Panthers can't get all 3 phases going at the same time. That's the frustrating part.

the thing i was hoping, like a homer, is that this regime would correct that trend.Oh hell no. I thought we would be in 38-34 type games all year. I figured the defense would be losing us games, not vice versa.

oh well.
back to the drawing board.
not really interested in seeing if rivera can do better with his third year and finally get the offense and defense clicking. i've seen enough.

i feel safe in saying we were all wrong about this team this year and i doubt anyone really expected it would suck to this magnitude. you're either right or wrong. there is no grey.
