Really pulling for TD to make a full recovery. Dude has had some crappy luck but if he can get back out there and get back up to speed the sky is the limit for him.

One of these four linebackers is going to be the odd man out someday in a few years. If TD can make a full return, it will be a difficult decision.

If TD does make a full return and is back to his previous level, it will be a very easy decision. I like James Anderson but he's not Davis. Davis can be elite when healthy. Hell I'll even say this, if he never had a history of injuries many would view him as better than Beason.

I think you keep all 4. Injuries have hit our linebackers since the land before time.

I'm not at all trying to downplay Thomas Davis' ability but I think his legend has outpaced reality. It wasn't until the first half of 2009 that he started to show real promise. Before that everyone was questioning when he would reach his potential. Since then he has played in 2 games and torn his ACL 3 times. You can't assume he will be the elite player he was just on the verge of becoming before all of that.

I still hold hope that he can be a contributor but to put any real trust into him staying healthy would be foolish.

What a bold, edgy statement.

anyone who thinks he is going to return and be an elite lb has their hopes to high. If he can play at a starter
level, that would be fantastic. I just don't see him going through 2 or 3 more seasons without injury.

Best to consider us lucky if he can even contribute for the next couple of years.
