I'm hoping that there won't be any "Manny juiced when he was with the Sox too!" stories coming out but recent history with other players makes that unlikely...

I think I will mark this occasion by buying a Jason Bay jersey.

Yeah usually where there's smoke.......

Personally if he appeals, and MLB upholds it, I hope the Dodgers release him outright.

Huh? Pot enhances performance? Here I thought it weakened/dampered performance

Doesn't really matter if it's steroids or not. If it's "performance enhancing", it's bad, and it's banned (and so is Manny).

Peter Gammons has said that the positive result stems from a prescription drug Manny got for a personal health reason from a doctor in Florida. He didn't state what the drug was but indicated it wasn't any kind of steroid or HGH type drug.

Yeah, and the doc didn't know the Rx was on the No-No list. I gotta give props to Manny for acknowledging it, admitting it, and not appealing cuz he knew in the end he was the one who's but was on the line.

That said.

HAHAHa.

    • At first I didn't like the guy but he put his money where his mouth is. Gave a ton to Charity and really backed up his talk of trying to makechange. If he continues on his charitable ways thru out his NFL career I hope he stays in the NFL for years to come.
