Best Recap gets pie and a like...

Too bad Jake failed us at the end.... I loved him for where he took us, but am still salty at where we should have been in 08

I don't place full blame on him for how he looked in 2009. I blame John Fox for having a blind eye and refusing to bench him. I still love everything Delhomme did for us and the guy was as clutch of a quarterback as you'll find from '03-'08, even when he began to just start chucking it up to Smith in 2008. Our team just found a way.

I think it would be great if Jake did come back to work for us. He has a lot of fire, drive, and passion. That being said, he won't.

And I agree with Mage. Fox bears the brunt of the blame for 2009. It was obvious Jake had lost it, and couldn't go on, but Fox stuck with him even when it was obvious that Moore was the better choice.

I will always have love for Jake and the player and leader he was for us.
