Been following this dude for around a year now and this kid looks like he could end up in the NBA if he hits the weights.

He's at West Charlotte and is T30 and 2-3C nationally. Every team in the country wants him and Carolina has offered him a scholarship. Really, really hope he picks Carolina over Indiana which I think it's going to come down to. Still a lot of time with him though.

One of my friends saw Meeks yesterday at Dipping Dots lol.

I heard Cal is down in these parts trying to steal him from UNC.

Come to The Hill Kennedy!!!

Calipari has extensive roots in NC and the Charlotte area so it wouldn't surprise me. He attended UNCW and I heard his dad lives in Charlotte. Not sure about the last part.

Kentucky is the ONLY program I'm worried about snatching players up we have targeted. Calipari is the best recruiter in the nation maybe in both FB and BB.

No doubt. He will at any college he selects. Athletes are usually the only freshmen that actually lose a lot of weight their first year in college lol.

Joel James has already shed like 40 pounds since arriving at Carolina TY.

Meeks is headed to Carolina.

#32 overall, #2 center.

The class next year is shaping up to be one of the best Carolina has ever recruited.

This guy is reallly good. Everyone raves about him. So glad he came to North Carolina. I have no doubt that he will shed some weight. Now PLEASE get Andrew Wiggins

^ Wiggins isn't going to Carolina...If I had money to gamble I would be willing to put a very large sum of money on it. It's UK or FSU for Wiggins and always has been.

His fat ass is going to have a hard time keeping up with the Carolina tempo. He's obviously talented, but he may struggle the first year until he gets into shape.

    • I believe I need to address something that a lot of us don't get on this forum.  The past is the past. People come and go. There have been good times, and bad. Everything changes at some point. However, as we embark this offseason, I challenge everyone to say goodbye. What has happened in the past is now the past. Nothing we do changes that. Many here are stuck in this mode that we're in 2016. Some even go as far as saying we're back tracking to 2015. We can relish those memories and scorn the bad, but the fact is this is 2017. We are not the 2015 Panthers, the 2016 Panthers, or the 2011 Panthers. We are entering a new stage in Panthers history. 2017 will be nothing like any team of years past. Coaches and players alike will learn from past mistakes and attempt to fix it. New guys will come in and add new wrinkles to our game. New fans will come in to add their flair. I challenge everyone to not fallback into the past. Don't hold on to things that will never change. Look to the future. Say goodbye.  Fall Forward.
    • I will stop being a Hornets fan until MJ and Cho are gone if this happens
