Madden 12 Panthers 2012 Season Simulation

25 posts in this topic

I'm 32-0 in my M'12 franchise.

Cam had around 4300 yards and 32 passing TDs in the second season.

DWill around 1250 rushing 14 TDs.

Smutty missed like 10 weeks; finished with around 600 yards. Rookie WR (fake player) led team with about 1100 yards. Gettis and LaFell around 800 each. Pilares huge in redone - 8 TDs.

Seems legit

Even with all the injuries, can't complain with the 4-0 start. Even if it is just Madden, I enjoy reading these Second City.

Don't usually play online. The lag time screws up my game.

WEEK 5: PANTHERS 45, SEAHAWKS 14

SUMMARY: The game was never really a contest, with the Panthers offense moving up and down the field seemingly at will. The Seahawks were forced to abandon the running game after falling behind early, but Matt Flynn didn't do much short of a meaningless 3rd quarter TD to Golden Tate. The score pretty much tells the story here.

WEEK 7: COWBOYS 30, PANTHERS 24 (O.T.)

SUMMARY: Coming off their bye week, the Panthers took an early 14-0 lead with a Cam Newton TD pass to Brandon LaFell, who returned this game after being injured in the season opener, and a Jonathan Stewart TD run. The Cowboys defense largely shut down the Panthers run game, though, and Newton was forced to throw more than usual. He played well, throwing for 306 yards and a TD without an interception. He also ran for a TD in the 4th quarter to give the Panthers a 24-17 lead after Dallas came back with back to back TD's on the final drive of the first half and opening drive of the 2nd half and later a field goal in the 3rd quarter. Tony Romo drove the Cowboys for a game-tying score to Dez Bryant with 0:07 left in regulation. Dallas won the coin toss and Romo hit Miles Austin on the winning TD from 46 yards out thanks to a missed Darius Butler tackle.

GAME MVP: Tony Romo (27/44, 325 yards, 4 TD's)

Still liking it!

I never got 2012, but did EA handicap player durability due to the lockout?
