They always seem to slip up once, though. I think they lead the country in one-loss seasons the last 25 years. That loss to Stanford or Oregon or someone like that always costs them a title.

If USC doesn't win it this year, I am looking at a well-rested Boise Team that gets in over some multiple loss teams.

Two 1,000 yard receivers, two 1,000 yard RB's, and a defense that has a ton of speed....

Barkley staying was the stepping stone, but the day USC received Silas Redd's transfer was the clincher. Silas Redd's addition makes this team so much more deadly then they were before. Not only do they have Moody McNeal who will punish defenders between the tackles, but now they have a TB who can go between or around the tackles, and be a DEADLY weapon in the receiving game. They also have a pair of skilled TE's, and on defense have a young but extremely talented front seven, and their back four should be one of the best in the nation by seasons end....
