Texas is beautiful country to drive thru, especially the NW end. Dallas sucked, especially in a 18 wheeler. I don't get the whole state pride thing, they seem to go a bit overboard out there.

Grew up in Houston (Nimitz HS). They indoctrinate you from the time you attend school with the "Texas is superior" dribble and it continues until you graduate. it's state issued propaganda.

School would be the last place I learned to be a Texan. You have to go out and find it for yourself.
I know the can do attitude in this state is a big part of it.
The only thing that sucks? All the damn yankees coming down here because our economy kicks butt and bringing their yankee ways with them.
The good thing? The heat and humidity usually runs them off in short order.

I've been respectful (thats gonna change shortly)so I'm not real sure what set you off considering your post was pre game time. If you had flown off the handle post game I could see it.
