doesn't seem like it's a major concern.

didn't see it posted.

Am sure others will want to know.

I hope our starters only play one series, we don't need ANYONE seriously hurt.

Sit him. There is nothing to gain by him playing.

Same for Smitty.

It has been said before on this thread that this kind of injury may not be too serious in the short term, but if Beason doesn't give it 5-7 days to heal, it could be a long term nightmare.

He can't play on Sat. Which is fine we will get to see Davis in as an obvious starter and this might force McDermott to start Kuechly at MLB. With the Texans' elite running game, Owens the TE who is productive there, and Schaub playing about a quarter in week 1, this will be an excellent test for the rookie.

I'm sure Beason didn't want things to work out this way. We will have to wait to see our LBs at full strength.

i'd rather they not play in any games that don't matter at all.

no pre-season games.

no pro-bowl.

it could be that they made it sound worse than it really is (even tho they didn't make it sound bad to begin with). lots of teams find injury excuses so that they can sit the guys they don't want to risk to unnecessary injury in pre-season games.
