Ok, as an amateur gambler I feel like I have the e-authority to speak here. I'm very, very close to being able to take my bankroll to Vegas or another gambling town and turn this into a living making an initial $100-$200 a day.

You have either A) never been to vegas. Or
B ) dont enjoy a good time. Because there is no way in hell I could live off 200 a day there, much less make a living off 200 a day.

I have been a few times, granted only for weeks at the time. Each time i have won 2,000 -3,000 playing texas hold em and each time i come home with like 100 out of the 1000 i take there. That place is so damn expensive.

Lived there for almost two years when I was 19 after making the stupid decision to move in with my (at the time) girlfriend when she moved back to Nevada for school. Lived just outside of it anyways. I hate the desert, but the location is more about the access to sportsbooks than anything. I honestly didn't really enjoy the strip for it's reputation, but I do enjoy drunk slutty women. Plus, gambling for a living is all about money management. I'm not headed there to "live the dream", I'd be headed there because I'd enjoy a lifestyle where I'm self-employed, earn $3000-5000 a month which is more than enough in Vegas, and my days entail doing research on the internet, placing bets, and getting drinks, and making spare money. Figure even $100 a day to start, or around $3000 a month. Expect about $1000/month for a decent place somewhere, and another $1000 for food/maintenance on my truck/spending. That still leaves a spare $1000 to build your bankroll with. It's not about living big when you start, just living and building you bankroll. The more money you have, the more you can make with limited risk.

Then maybe 15 years from now I'll be "living the dream" having wads of cash to blow on an escort per day.
