My only real concern is lot of fundamental slip ups that plagued us all last year. Sometimes I wonder how disciplined we are. That said, it's very possible it's just rust and we'll get it worked out.

Have to wait and see. Luckily it's a short week to gameday.

If he wants any measurement for the 3rd offense he would keep DA in for a little longer....how can you gauge those WRs if you have pickles behind center.

I want to see some improvement on ST especially, but across the board. As a D guru I expected a little more from that unit.

Where did people honestly expect any drastic defensive imrprovement to come from?

Our personnel is almost identical. People that expected some miraculous breakthrough from Sione Fua who was essentially the defensive version of Teh Jimmy his first year are kidding themselves in their own fantasy land.

Health and experience will boost us a tiny extent, other than that, we have to simply hope we find a few diamonds in the rough at key positions.

Not saying we can't have a winning record or get into the teens defensively but its nearly the same unit as last year. A LOT is riding on McClain's development and Edwards' comeback

I don't know why people would try to assess Rivera right now, I think he's a great coach...but our defense is not far from last year. It'll take some time and imo at least one more draft/offseason

I'm being serious, not playing around and I know Ima get bashed from this but:

Sometimes I really feel like Chud should be the HC, Rivera as DC, and Shula as OC.

Rivera does nothing more to this team than Chud, except probably a better preacher. Thats just my opinion, but I will still stay by Rivera's side atm.
