Yes, Clausen sucks, but he was the best pick and the right choice when we drafted him

Many sports fans hold dear to hindsight analysis. Just listen to sports radio at all of the d-bags that call in saying what they would have done; but if any of these assclowns ran a NFL franchise it would burn.

The past is the past, it's time for Clausen to no longer be wasting a roster spot.

It was the right pick and we were glad to have Clausen fell that far to us.
I dont think anyone is complaining that its the wrong pick. We didnt loose anything.

He still wasn't the best choice. At the time we still had Matt Moore, so we didn't NEED a QB. Remember at the end of 2009 Moore played great and so everyone had confidence in him going into 2010. I even had a signature I made supporting him. We had other needs such as DT, remember Nick Hayden? As well as TE, DE, and CB.

I would've much rather spent that pick on someone else at those positions, even if they may not have been BPA, than create a QB controversy. It was probably one of the factors that lead to Moore's downfall here. He had a pretty good season last year for Miami where he was healthy and had consistency staying in the lineup instead of being pulled out every other game in favor of someone else.

There were some here who followed Clausen through college and had doubts about him. Calling him Captain Checkdown and saying how long he held onto the football as well as his noodle arm on long throws. There were others that pointed to the fact he was passed over by the rest of the league in the draft. Sometimes twice...If those guys could see it, why couldn't Hurney and our scouts see it? Why do some people suck Hurney's d**k when a draft pick turns out good and still come to his defense even when they turn out bad? It's like he can do no bad in some people's eyes when really he is the pure definition of average. Put him on a pedestal if you want, but if he's so great in some people's eyes when it comes to the draft, then he should've seen how bad Clausen was right?

We had no guarantees Matt Moore would be the franchise QB and nobody scrubs behind him. Miami isn't even convinced of him and he's looked better there than he ever did here. We made the pick, it hasn't worked out. It's time for Jimmy to go and us to move forward. He's been around too long as it is.

He is our third string qb. He looks like a third string qb. That about all there is to say about him.
