I'm sure.

I'm sure for whatever reason they had a personal problem with him and didn't give him a chance to earn the job despite the fact they traded for him. I'm sure he worked his heart out and all those silly rumors about him not understanding the playbook weren't true.

They just didn't want him to succeed. I'm sure he won't bring his cancerous, showboating attitude with him and affect the minds of our young, impressionable locker room. Let's sign him. Superbowl!

I'd have said no even without the domestic violence charge.

With that in play on top of everything else? Forget it.

That GIF has always made me want to vomit, but not as much as the thought of Chad Johnson in a Panthers uniform.

Oh yeah.... Chad couldn't even learn the Patriots offense after an entire season and yet somehow he could pick up Chud's insane and complex schemes in a couple weeks.

I personally don't see the negative about it. He would be on a one year deal with little to no guarantee. He played in HS with Smith and with him on board it would give a dynamic veteran duo. Worst thing you can do is release him if he acts up. People here acted as if Keyshawn was toxic when we signed him a few years back and all he did was suit up and play and act like a good sport.
