Let me start off by saying the members going bananas about the first preseason game are clearly in need of a reality check and the term preseason. Only 2 completions for 16 yards iirc in nearly a quarter, sound the alarms. Come on guys.

Ive been thinking, we go out and sign Mike Tolbert, to play fullback. A formidable weapon on the ground, and passing game. Some people, confused. Why sign a player whos essentially a rb when our depth at rb is impeccable already?

Now, we lock up Stewart to a 5 year deal. Looks like we are keeping our deep backfield, deep for quite sometime now. Stewart, Dwill, Tolbert, and the ability of cam running. What a backfield, we have the whole deal back there right? Yeah, we do.

What did we learn last year, its that Cam can PASS at a level we never expected, especially as a rookie. He passed too much last year but because so many passes were called we learnes essentially just what Cam CAN do in the passing game.

This season I feel our wide recievers have potential to suprise, I think we have good depth at the position, a group Peyton could sure as hell make look as one or the best in the league with LaFell, Murphy, possible Gettis and Smith just doing his thing as usual. Cam broke Peytons rookie records, in the pass.

We dont need to be an all around haywire passing team this year, and no one thinks we will be. Cam will need to make throws, not 4000 yards worth of throws, cutdown the picks and what can the defense gameplan for? We can beat you in the pass, Cams going to show you we can beat you in the pass, now the run game is going to trample all over you.

Yeah, the past superbowl winners have been mostly all pass with a bad run game, GB won the superbowl cause that no name runningback started to jump start their run game in the playoffs. Their all pass no defense philosophy would have failed without the run game they had lacked all season in the playoffs.

We have an exceptional run game, and a quarterback who can make a formidable pass game. So what we didnt see anything in the first preseason game, why are our coaches going to show our true offense in a preseason game, number 1 at that. Its called sand baggin, individual grades. Point is our offense can be great, and even with a shaky defense, we can be a good football team. On D we added Luke Kuechly, who is great. Even if nothing else happens from last year to this year we will have more experience at DT, more depth at DE, Beason, a would be top LB FA aquisition in Keek, and more depth at corner.

Rivera specifically said we are built to pass the ball and we are a 'pass first team'.

When you say no expects us to be an haywire passing team what do you mean by haywire? Because if last year is any indication of our passing game then I don't see how it wouldn't be much different.

And can we get off mentioning previous SB winners' offensive philosophy and thinking there is some kind of formula. Teams are different and you can win in a variety of ways.

We can tone down the passing game from last year and be a very well balanced offense

Exactly and what did we come out doing yesterday, running. It looked like fuging Fox ball. We are going to pass first and look to pass, but we dont have to rely on it because we also have a great run game.

I'm going to remind you people every single time we get behind and stop running the ball how worthless it is having 3 starting runningbacks and how stupid the idea of "it just makes us more dynamic y'all" really is.

go ahead, cause only two would be starters on different teams.

Your brain not working?
