Louis Murphy and Tauren Poole

Tauren Poole looked pretty well too. I know the numbers are against him as far as making the team, but I expect him to get more carries in the next couple of games. Could be the dark horse to make the squad. Really we need 3 pure rbs anyway, and I wouldn't consider Tolbert a pure rb. I'd keep Poole, and cut Brockel who doesn't really supply any big play ability.
I know everyone on here like's Murph, but wouldn't mind seeing some thoughts on Poole and how is future may end up.

-Poole should make the team, cut Vaughn. I just hope for one time in my life to see a Panthers' coach keep the talents and cut the scrubs just bc he is "a vet or has the experience".
-Cut Brockel? whattttt? Keep Brockel and cut Hartsock.

agreed about starting WRs.-Starting 3 WRs should be Smitty-Lafell-Murphy.

don't really agree with the other two, but it's nothing i would get into a big fight about as i don't really care.
unless one or two are special team aces, i don't really see a whole lot of benefit in keeping poole, vaughn, brockel, or hartsock. i'd rather use those spots for ST aces or defense or maybe a 6th or 7th WR or depth somewhere else. sure, it would leave us thin at a couple spots, but i think we'd be ok. i just think those spots could be better used elsewhere. at the very least i don't see the need to give them jersey's every week.

He may be starting by game1 but that doesnt mean he's going to stay there. Gettis could over take him easily if Murphy's drops become a problem. . . or the vice versa could happen, we'll see.

Agreed, I see it like Poole is basically trying out for another team right now (assuming he is not a ST ace)

Tolbert was disappointing in his debut, but one preseason game isn't the end of the
world.
Poole could more value than Vaughn in a trade situation as well. He's got obvious heart.
