heh?

The roster is a 90 players right now, no? Gotta be at 53 for opening day, you do the math... I dont know all the 90's names but Im sure I will recognize a few when cuts are made...

Playres/practicers remark was in response to Gettis not making it on the field this TC/preseason/season. Not knockin the guy, but Murphy has shown more since hes been here than Gettis has since last year. I get hes been hurt, but a roster spot is valueable, rather have somebody that can play get it, not someone who has been just practicing...

Gettis tore it up (no pun intended) when Jimmy Clausen and Brian St Pierre were throwing him the ball.

Look at someone like Tutu, who has been in the league for many years but has never been very impressive, and certainly didn't look good in our first preseason game (unless you count drawing like 10 pass interference penalties as talent). We've seen what he can do, and he hasn't shown very much potential.

In my opinion, you keep a guy who has shown flashes of greatness over a guy who have proven that he's nothing better than mediocre. Injury or no injury.

I'd like to see Steve, Lafell, Gettis, Murphy, Adams, and Pilares make the team.

Oh and as for Poole, I like what I've seen, but we're already carrying a lot of runningbacks, wideouts, tight ends, and fullback crossovers, so will we have enough room for him?

I almost rather a guy like that get his talent used somewhere else rather then sit in the shadows here in Carolina.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Poole not only makes the squad, but has a significant impact this year or next, i.e. Arian Foster. Don't know what it is about Tennessee running backs...they suck in college but flourish in the pro's.
