It never ceases to amaze me on all the hate Hurney gets. Every team in the league has holes and about 20 of them have a less talented roster than the Panthers.
These guys that hate Hurney would likely not be satisfied but with maybe 5 current gms in the nfl.
Good post.
With a salary cap, every team in the league is going to have holes.

That's true. The patriots have been one of the best teams in the league basically because they got lucky on a quarterback in Brady and maintained a good offensive line. Everything else has been pretty up and down on that roster.
A good quarterback fixes a lot of ills is kind of the lesson I got from them and the Colts the last decade.

Exactly.
Look what Houston went through this year. They still look pretty damn competitive to me.

I'd love to hear how you quantify talent on other teams.
I'd be surprised if you can name more than 5 players on any team off the top of your head.

The ones with a QB and WR.
No seriously...
Saints**. Patriots. Packers. Panthers? Giants. colts (manning) Lions? A handful of teams..
What other teams are pass heavy??
I'm gonna say a lot of teams still try and ground and pound. I keep seeing everyone say it's a passing league we don't need to invest in running backs. Yea the teams that have HOF QBs (brees, Brady..) air it out...our RBs help the passing game. I'm glad they locked ours up.

No you wouldn't don't be silly, you hate any reason for optimism. The other part isn't even worthy of a response
The only difference between you and CRA is he at least attempts to back up his pessimism with intelligent responses, where you just result to weakass insults on an internet forum.
Your average response to someone making a good counterpoint to you is, "YAZ GUYZZ,HURNEY HAZ GOT DIZ DOWNNN, DNT WORRY, HERP A DERP"

I asked what other teams are pass heavy...as in 60/40. Maybe 65/35...I'd be interested to see percentages of plays from teams
is 60/40 the consensus boundary between "pass heavy" and "ground and pound"?

seeing how spazzes like you simply make poo up just to generate optimism, i'm going to say you've got no convincing analysis to back that up.
