I'm considering buying an economy PC but it comes with a 220w power supply. I have a standard size 600 watt power supply I could install but I'm not sure if it will fit.

The new PC looks like its 4" wide. That just sounds to narrow.

Are you asking if the PC is too narrow or if the power supply is worth installing in the new PC?

If a standard power supply would fit in that PS. It probably doesn't matter I'm looking to build from scratch now. the prices on window 7 have come down.

The 220w PS it comes with is adequate for that machine.
Why do you need to put a bigger PS in it?
I run a 1200W PS but it is to power my SLi machine so...
