The throw was a questionable decision, but it shows he trusts Smitty. It was definitely a PI, what changed it from normal give and take to PI was when the CB nudged Smitty's shoulder enough to turn Smitty around a little bit. Once you affect a WR's route after 5 yards, it's gonna get called every time.

I agree, again, it was hard to tell from the stands.

Thanks for the input.

special teams still suck.

Hardy played well...... IMO

Gamble's wr was open all nite.

way too many penalties

if we stop shooting ourselves in the foot this wil be a fun season too watch.

The person that stood out to be besides our defenseive line ( minus hardy ) was norman, there actually was not a blown coverage when he was playing..

Regarding the PI: The corner grabbed Smitty's shoulder and pulled on it hard enough to cause Smith's upper body to twist and then proceeded to armbar him until the ball got there. It was definitely a PI.

As someone who now lives in the midwest, great writeups are really appreciated. Thanks.

Tolbert had a great game at Fullback last night. I don't know what you were watching.

Good post, I was there too.I'm gonna go back and watch the tape to get a better idea of things but heres some that stood out to me as well.

-The number one thing that jumped out to me was the one Pass to Olsen. Perfection. I re-watched it on tv and it does not do it justice. It was a perfectly thrown and timed ball.

-Also like Cam's deep third down pass to Lafell.

- Deangelo is nasty as hell on his cutback's. Looked very good last night.

- Tolbert is a chunky son of gun who can move quick as hell and is powerful.

-Alexander, did a great job and his motor was going on every play that I could see. He had a great non stop motor, all the way to the end.

-I was only a few feet away from the Stanford pick to seal the W and the crowd reaction was awesome.

-Speaking of crowd reactions, the biggest cheers I heard came during a timeout when Tolbert and Stewart were doing the "wobble" dance and were featured on the big screen.

-I had no idea Hartstock could run a route and make a catch like that, thought he was purely a blocking tight end.

Yeah, I mean all he did was give Stewart a touchdown. So lame.
