Marc James is a tool and I was listening to these clowns yesterday. We're on the cusp of FB season with the Panthers on primetime Sunday night and these bozos are talking about what's the best sports nickname? LOL
Mark Packer or f'ing someone needs to join up on 730 ESPN here and put out a little competition. The reason The Drive sucks is because they don't have anyone to compete with sports talk wise.
Especially since the man Vince Coakley left 1110 the talk radio competition in general is lack there of.

The only hosts left that I can stand on the station are Celania, Yarbro, and Zarzour. Since Zarzour has to play the straight shooter and they would want someone opinionated to drive ratings, I'd bring back Brenston Buckner. Yeah, he isn't the smoothest talker, but he brings a player's perspective and doesn't talk in constant cliches like Garcia.

Taylor Z is a good fit for the station but James has got to go. He is a know it all doucher.

Buckner is good in small controlled doses.
Marc James annoys the ever loving piss out of me not because their segments are bad he just sucks at radio. His radio personality is verbal diarrhea that a dog licks up and shits into an abortion clinic dumpster which is fire bombed by maltov cocktail wielding christian fundamentalists who secretly fug boys on the side.

Marc James is the typical know it all yankee bandwagon doucher who comes down to the south and thinks he knows everyone and everything.
Have any of yall ever seen him IRL? He's a 6'6 lanky creepy looking dude who prob weighs 140 lbs soaking wet. He looks like he has HIV.
Brett Jenson's show is boarder line unlistenable and might be the worst show on the station.
I have some friends that see him on Montford every weekend and they said he is a creepy old guy who hits on all the 20 year olds. Creeper vibes from him are strong.

I read somewhere that Marc James real name is something like Marc Bednarczyk and that he changed his radio name when he moved from Tampa to Charlotte since his reputation there was so terrible and he wanted a fresh start here. And yeah, Jensen's whole style of pausing for dramatic effect is awful and if what you say about his creeper status is true, it's not a surprise that his fiancee dumped him via text message.

Packer was arrogant but I heard he was really nice if you met him out in public.
You can say what you want about Packer but we've had The Drive for a year and a half now and the two shows do not compare.
One thing about Packer's show I loved was the variety of the co-hosts. I get tired of hearing Marc James' whiny ass voice all the time. They need to consider bringing a new co-host in everyday to accompany the two and bring a new perspective.
