Panther fans don't need to explain themselves in an attempt to stand up for their team, and they definitely don't need to feel inferior.. The difference from 2008 and now is this team still has a chance to prove themselves. We, as fans, were quite used to having the talent to win playoff games but never lived up to that because "winning 3 out of 4 games" was acceptable. "It is what it is" and "we'll get them next time" were mantras that were not only allowed to procreate but were derived from the coaches themselves..

We have been told "it is what it is" is no more.. We know our QB will accept nothing less than success. AND our coach accepts nothing less... They expect to win every game.

Now, as fans, it's time to let the games begin and quit explaining ourselves to other fanbases, friends, whoever.. Quit with the middle child syndrome.. The team had to change it's mentality, it's time for fans to change their mentality as well..

Them space boots, enjoy the ride for now..

The way our offense finished up the season last year was incredible. They should be even better coming out of the gates this season. I don't know if there are any defenses that will be able to stop us from putting up huge numbers.
