The Golden Calf of Bristol is QBing the scout team pretending to be Newton.

Rivera said he was going to gameplan like it was the regular season

coaches need practice too. although we wont show our hands, we will plan against the jets too.

Thanks guys... I know the 3rd PS game is the one taken most seriously, but I still didn't think they'd do much gameplanning for it because they don't want to show anyone anything of significance before the actual season starts.

I think it's more about game planning against the Jets more than showing our hands if that makes sense.

I like Revis but this is kind of douchey of the Jets. Why are you gameplanning/specifically scheming for a team/player in the preseason?

because they are trying hard to not suck so much.

to that i say....good luck with that.

Revis and the Jets are afraid the Panthers will embarass them and feel extra preparation is needed. It won't matter! The 4th quarter is their ONLY chance for mercy.

Was Revis asked this before or after watching any film of our first two games? Because if it was after watching two games of Cam the statue, he is wasting energy worrying about Cam running. But be my guest Revis. Focus on the one player who will be going out of his way not to hurt you.

I love that Smitty will not be playing. Good to see our young guys get some experience against a good D. This will be a good week for Rivera to do some evaluating. At least at the WR position.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is QBing the scout team pretending to be Newton.

Their pass D will suffer from that since it takes Timmay 5 seconds to throw a pass

Everyone should expect the Jets defense to focus on Cam.
Any good defense should.

No surprise.

Focusing on Cam could be interpreted as rushing 4 and dropping 7 into zone and watching where Cam wants to go with the ball.

yeah, cam runs . . . but only when he has to. i take "focusing" on cam as putting spy on him. when you do that, unlike teblow, he will simply drop it to olsen, lafell, stew, dwill, tolbert, etc.

practicing against a running qb that can't throw is nothing like going up against this offense.

besides, even if you do adequately game plan, you still have to stop it.

Tim could never duplicate the Swag needed to mimic the Panthers offense.
