Dont blame Gamble.
Blame McDermott/RR. When are we going to have a defense that will blitz and confuse the offense more?

The fug, did you not see the game? They blitz plenty...

Btw, all the corners gave their guys 5 yards of breathing room. I don't know what kind of coverage we were playing.

Under Fox Gamble gave huge cusions and he always gives up the quick slant as Gamble was coached to guide the Wr into the lbers.

Its not that he isnt good it is his technique..I heard the radio guy talk about Nakamuras deep position as well.

Does anyone care to bring up those CB efficiency stats in which he was in the top 3 in almost every category to shut this guy up? People don't throw to him and he doesn't give up receptions. Anything that happens in the preseason is null, has no bearing, and doesn't matter.

12 pts.... D played just fine

Not really. Holding a team to few points also can have a lot to do with what your opponent isn't doing.

We didn't apply pressure well....and our secondary didnt cover well.

LB corp has a strong night....DL and secondary were far from impressive

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that anyone he is playing man with he gives them a 5-7 yard gap? I mean I understand if we are playing cover 2 or cover 3 obviously no one gets behind him, but he gives them sooo much room its ridiculous. We pay him shut down corner money, however in my opinion he doesn't produce, and never really has.

Those would be the defenses he would play tighter on because there is or should be help behind him.

None of us really know what his assignments are, but to me it appears he usually covers his side of the field with no help over the top. He doesnt let anyone get behind him, but it is frustrating to watch guys able to hit that out or comeback route on single coverage, but that is the best option for the offense.

This would be the perfect time for someone to bitch about not opening the playbook up last night against the Jets. ;)
