Kuechly may be the best defensive player on the team already.

A WHOLE PIE!
I don't think I have ever seen a more fluid and sure handed tackler. Nose for the ball, smart, great in coverage. I don't think we have seen anyone like him yet in a Panthers uniform. I know, thats saying a lot with guys like Sam Mills, Dan Morgan, Jon Beason, etc. But as far as the complete package goes, this kid has it all.
I get a football boner thinking about a Kuechly/Beason/Davis combo.
We may have a DROY on our hands here folks. It is a very real possibility.

No one can shut down JGrahamI want to agree with you, but I'm curbing my enthusiasm until we see if he can shut down Jimmy Graham in week 2.

There is something very, very, very special about Kuechly. He has game-changing ability on the defensive side of the ball and he has made our run defense all we could ask for.

No one can stop Graham. If he can be contained that is impressive.

Kuechly is good, but Beason is our best defensive player.
Kuechly has the potential to be better than Beason, he's already better in coverage. Beason is an amazing talent, and this isn't a knock on him at all, but Kuechly can be a once in a generation player.

I agree. Beason is a friend of mine, and an all pro player. But Kuechly may be a more well rounded LB.
