the fact that this thread is still going strong is pretty funny. The NCAA has made a ruiling and the matter is now closed.

So what you're saying is profitable AD's should only generate renenue from alums and current students?!?! BRILLIANT!! Please tell me youre a business major from State. lol

Seriously, dont let your little brother butthurt cloud your better judgement. Every school in NC not named Duke or UNC wishes they had more fans so they too can haz the real money that comes from mass merchandizing... my directional school included... Although Im quite certain my directional school has a better business dept than your Ag school if the business model inferred in your post is accepted by the business dept and school as a whole.

Question for all the WalMart UNC sidewalk fans:

I peeped some baller UNC hoodies at RiteAid. Are these the same quality as the Walmart version? I dont want to get ripped off!!!

No idea how you jumped to that conclusion. Any school should sell their gear to whoever wants to buy it, and anyone can have schools they like or follow.

But if my friend comes up to me with a UNC-CH shirt on (or any other school's shirt that they didn't go, I have WF and GT fan friends who do this as well) and says "We're gonna totally stomp you on saturday" then I reply "I was not aware we played the Surry County Community College Black Knights on saturday, but I admire your optimism"

And of course, if one of these people ever mentions academics they will immediately be laughed out of the room.

I don't hate state or their fans, I pity them. Their delusional expectations make them pretty funny tho.

But they can't complete a thought without mentioning Carolina, it has to be because they are stuck with a severe case of inferiority complex.

One of few fanbases' that spend more time hoping for the downfall of their superior rivals as much as, or even more than the success of their own teams. I guess one is more realistic than the other.

My point is proven that only one other team is represented this thread other than Tarheels.

Walmart jokes are the best thing they have going for them at this point, seeing how an average SEC team made a mockery of their football team.

There seems to be some confusion. You guys can cheer for whoever you want to whenever you want to. Buy up all the merch in the world if you want to.

Just know your place. Refer to this pic for reference

That actually is funny considering the first two words uttered in the OP

The NCAA released ANOTHER statement today confirming the report that Carolina broke no rules.

Meanwhile, Tennessee just scored again.

Speaking of "academic issues" maybe State fans need to start preparing for a little investigation themselves?

Starting CB suspended for multiple games.

Gonna laugh my asd off when the powerhouse known as UCONN escorts Tom OBrien to the hot seat this week.

There's no investigation needed

Making poor grades in real classes? Automatic Banhammer

Making good grades in fake classes? No violations here boss!

Does african studies fall in the History dept or is it its own dept? And what does one do with that degree? Civil Rights activist? Community organizer? All jokes aside is this degree on par with Art history etc?

AA studies is a branch of liberal arts. That department has a Dean followed by a dean of liberal arts who oversees all the other branches. I went to a state school in the NC college system, while different schools offer different degrees/programs I assume the organizational structure is consistent.

But to my knowledge you can graduate with a B.A. In AA studies.

On a side note, the criticism of the department was a bit dismissive and to be frank I sensed some racial undertones. There were classes I took in college that I didn't do to well in like biometrics and then there were classes I excelled in like sports sociology. I just liked them better. It's not fair to criticize a student b/c they did poorly in a standardized class like math/science then accuse them of cheating because they did well In a class that is probably taught differently from every instructor and reflected on a students ethnicity or culture. Let's be honest here I'm sure 99% of the students in those classes were AA.
