A 7th.

The fcuk? I mean dude would've been cut.

He isn't a veteran, so we would have had to hope to win a waiver claim on him. A 7th is a small price to pay for a guy you're interested in having on the team.

Isn't it funny how we seem to need so many more special teams aces than other teams?

Hmmm, maybe it's a coaching problem?

Ask the Steelers. They dumped Al Everest just a short time ago.

(and yet they still managed to look a lot better than us last night)

he was mad fast on madden last year

He has a 94 Spd and 90 Acc on Madden 13...Rivera is always looking to improve, you gotta respect that.

I remember when people on this board were talking about how stupid the Chris Harris trade was, and how it didn't matter that he was a good player, since Mike Trgovac was a horrible coach.

Granted, Trgovac WAS a horrible coach, but Chris Harris also had a hell of a season that year and lead the NFL in forced fumbles.

Youre right, despite the large influx of dollars an talent into special teams this offseason, along with an additional year implementing the system and an additional assistant, we have absolutely no reason to believe Brian Murphy isn't a good coach.

#IFartRainbows #PanthersBestestEvah.

Tolbert + 2 decent ST players...isn't a huge investment into what was a squad that had horrible talent.

We haven't had ST talent in years. Give Murphy poor talent like last year....expect poor results
