Armanti Edwards, a player with no discernible skills, has likely made the team

Yup. Not sure why people miss out on this every season. The players at the bottom of the depth chart that you are kind of surprised to see make the team, are usually the ones that are cut the next day or two with free agent signing.

Even if Edwards makes the cut, I don't think he'll be a Panther on Monday.

Hurney loves Armanti though...that's his baby boy

Armanti and Clausen should be discussed in the same breath, or else whoever's talking is an ignorant hypocrite who needs to shut up.

Can someone tell me what Armanti brings to the table that someone like Jared Green doesn't?

At least Green has caught a TD in an NFL uniform. AE still hasnt done that.

Experience, knows the playbook, has more practice with this offense, more practice running routes....

Who exactly do you think Green is?

As i said in a previous post. Green has a TD in his first preseason, something AE hasnt been able to do with 3 preseasons and 2 regular seasons

If you see Clausen cut today, don't be surprised if Armanti is listed as the 3rd QB. Could be a way of keeping another receiving option, while having an emergency QB (not like he'd ever play unless there were two injuries in the same game anyway).

Jimmy keeps regressing, but at least he has the experience of having thrown a few touchdown passes and having started more games at QB than any other for us in 2010. He's maybe a 2/10 player, while Armanti is literally a 0/10. There has literally never been a single highlight in Armanti's career, not even in preseason. You could at least get creative and cut a Jimmy highlight reel that lasts 90 seconds. What has been Armanti's best play? Like 15 yard punt return? A 15 yard reception in preseason?

I don't think you can do that... if you're talking about him being active as the emergency QB on game day...

I quit reading your post at "but". There is no but. He sucks because he's SCARED TO DEATH of any pass rush and goes full-retard whenever it looks like one is coming. He's dead weight and the team needs to wash its hands of that mistake.
