This is a very good move.. We now are not waiting for the DTs to develop and catch up with the rest of the D--two veteran starters, rotate in Fua, Kearse, and Neblett.

As for using this news to trash Fua, he was the last third rounder in the draft--a comp pick--basically, a fourth rounder. Most DTs drafted after the middle of the first round do not shine during their rookie seasons. Newsflash: Not ever player picked in the late third round becomes a star--especially DTs.

Does anyone remember when we drafted him Rivera said something about him needing to get in better shape and McClain said in response in an interview that he didn't know what he was talking about?

Could be a sign that the coach and player just clashed right there. This screams of a decision made based on work ethic concerns.

The "Armanti for the second rounder" hurt. However, this draft is 100% better than the 2010 draft. When you draft DTs in the third round to start, you are expecting a lot.

Fua will be OK depth in the future. Kalil speaks highly of him. However, when I watched Stanford film on him, I was not impressed.

Wilson was just releaed by the Saints*. He's done.
