Obamacare is a god damn republican plan. No republicans voted for it. You figure it out genius.

Name a republican that voted for Obamacare, or do you have some other roll call vote that no one has a clue wth you're talking about.

Annnnnd g5 derails another thread.

My OP is "is this data relevant in any way?" g5's response - "this data doesn't conform to my views, get other data".

it's a catch-22... if he acknowledged it, he would no longer be a republican at which point his agreement would make no difference...

it's a logical black hole that swallows every single thread he posts in.

it almost sounds like you are suggesting that Clinton had to reach something called a compromise in order to get things done - perhaps even with people whose priority was to "make things better" not

You are correct. Clinton was able to negotiate a compromise. Obama on the other hand hasn't come close to it, and I serious doubt he will be able to manage one if he gets another 4 years, especially since there is a decent chance the republicans will take control of the Senate. At very least, they are going to gain a couple of seats.

I don't know if Romney will do any better, but he would be hard pressed to do any worse than Obama has regarding getting along with congress.

How can Republicans possibly cooperate with a man they honestly think is going to turn the US into the USSR?

Romney would have the distinct advantage of not dealing with the antics of the repubs in congress
