Our defense plays against Cam Newton every day.

Playing against Josh Freeman is like playing against Cam Newton wearing leg weights and an explosive case of diarrhea being held in.

Our defense will be fine when it comes to Freeman. I'm more worried about consistency late in the game in coverage and our consistency in stopping the run.

One cannot undervalue this. Practicing agains our O has to be a challenge. Very well could make us better just from the experience.

Well...the other way of looking at this is that our scout team quarterback is not Cam Newton and is either 1) the worst quarterback in the NFL or 2) the second-worst quarterback in the NFL. And no, I'm not sure which is which.

Our defense played against Cam and the oline in practice last season. That worked out well for them.

(Though, against the Bucs we did dominate. I just wouldn't let it get you too excited about the rest of the season).
