I don't see how Dungy is invested. His check didn't bounce. He got a Super Bowl somewhere else. He's good.

Dungy is a man that puts a lot into everything he does.
He definitely was responsible for changing the culture of the franchise in Tampa.

And it only took Gruden a few years to destroy it.

I don't feel bad for Dungy in regards to the Bucs not selling enough tickets because I don't care! I care about the Carolina Panthers: how many tickets we sell, how we play, how many games we win, etc. The only time I'm concerned about another team is when their record plays a part in my team making the Playoffs, or where we rank in the division, or something like that.

I feel sorry for him because his name is essentially dung with a 'y' tacked on the end. Might as well be Tony Sh!tty.

Plainly put, when i think Tony Dungy, i think the Indianapolis Colts. Good things DO cover up bad things (when it comes to Football).

Edit: Unless your name is Joe Paterno, God rest his soul.
Honestly, i think its the order things happen. The whole Paterno thing happened last. Dungy was able to spend 6 years in Indy, and do great, so thats what we remember first. I think he couldnt care less IMO. He knows hes awesome, he has a great family, and hes set financially. He may even chuckle at the way things have turned.

Owner needs to just move the team to L.A. That's where they belong anyway. Oh wait they won't sell out there either..

Can you make it a little more plain? It's not plain enough for my brain :(

Dungy lives in Tampa and has to witness the debacle on the news every night.

A Bucs fan just told me their games have been blacked out since 2009.

Ha. That Bucs fan is an idiot then. I believe only the MNF game was blacked out last year but definitely not all were.

14 of their last 16 home games have been blacked out.

and this game blacked out despite;

new coaches
new Free Agents
relaxed capacity from 90 to 85% to qualify for "selling out"
free parking!
lowered prices on 80% of the available tickets

And didn't the CBA make it HARDER for games to get blacked out?
