You're allowed to be excited. Don't be scared.

faith and enthusiasm aren't for the weak of heart.

some people are just too afraid of disappointment.

i'm here to testify that they ain't easy dealing with sober, either. just not as funny to post on youtube.

Well I am going to have the fantastic opportunity to watch the early game with about 7 self loathing, bitter Jets fans. The beer will be flowing like wine, my friend.

Some peeps just lack a pair of big boy pants and a set of balls.

I fully expect us to walk into TB's house and whip their ass up and down the field. Yea I've said before TB is improved and they've gotten better...whatever that's all good...but now it's time to get big and step on that team's throat. It's go time

it's called confidence....and it's not for the weak.

right up there with my 38-10 prediction.

considering what we're coming in with and what they are just starting out with....panthers are just too much.

What we've seen on this board far exceeds anything close to "confidence."

It's just foolishness.

And fools.

The people posting that think the Panthers are going to score 50 points and the Bucs have 0% chance of winning are going to have a nervous breakdown if the Panthers lose or barely win.

If the Panthers lose Sunday, it might be a good idea to take the day off from the Huddle monday.

Peter King's predictions for Week 1:

Cam II. What can Cam Newton do for an encore? We'll find out in the stifling humidity of Tampa in a late start Sunday. I keep hearing offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinki has some interesting stuff up his sleeve for Year 2 of the Newton era in Charlotte, and maybe we'll see some of that on Sunday.

Panthers 30 - Bucs 13
Carolina Panthers (0-0) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-0)
The Bucs could be the surprise team of 2012 -- if Josh Freeman plays in 2012 the way Cam Newton played in 2011. He's capable of being the throwing man Newton was, if not the running one, but I'm going to have to see it first to believe it. I say Newton kicks off this season the way he did last year - with a powerful passing game against a re-tooling Tampa Bay defense.

In order to be a successful, elite level athlete (or team for that matter)...it requires a mindset...

A mindset that says "I dont give a damn who we play...we are going to whoop their ass"

I mean I've said before Tampa has improved with their FA additions and their very good draft....I've said a couple weeks ago don't sleep on Tampa....

But its game week/time now...time to get excited....time to talk trash...time to get big...time to spank dat a$$

if they only win by a little bit or lose the game...i won't be shaken because i still have confidence in what this team can do and i know that it's only a matter of time before they unleash hell on the whole league. i don't know why this week isn't the one that sets it all off.

will i be pissed if we lose? definitely, but not more than you or anyone else. if we just squeak by...meh. it's a win. who cares? we're still on the upswing, right?

people are just too afraid to think big win because they are too afraid of falling short. not me. it goes with the territory. we've seen the worst and it came with jimmy clausen at QB. that culture of suck is long gone. that culture of apathy that fox had cultivated is long gone.

this is a team that has set the bar high and believes the sky is the limit. forget being reasonable or tempering my giddy. i'm 100% on board with them. if it doesn't start this week then it will start the week after that. or the week after that. or the week after that. i don't care. i'm a fan. call me homer and i'll wear that badge with honor.

i believe.
