Mark baron says hi. Lavonte david says sup...

Mark Baron and David did nothing special. Few good plays but same could be said about Luke. Olsen was also eating Baron alive the whole game.

You don't know much about playing LB, do you? Did you notice the plays where Luke was taking on the lead blocker? Someone has to do that. That allowed other guys to make the tackle. The first guy in the hole is gonna have to take on that lead blocker.

That's the whole point: We didn't ALLOW you to have balance. That was our game plan, take away the run and make Cam do it all by himself. 10 rushing yds allowed is no error on your part, it was the result of our intent to limit the run...

You didn't take away the run....we did that to ourselves. Our OC does that...

We ran Williams rarely and did it out of quirky formations for him.

Bucs did a great job making us pay for it though

Yep, we ran the ball 13 times. That's not even giving the run a chance.

8 times by a RB, FB or WR. Just a joke.

Hey let's invest heavily in RBs and then have our OC pretend like they are scrubs and avoid running plays to their strengths.

Thanks, Luke....

We didn't even need Josh Freeman to show up this game because Doug Martin and our fullback were blowing him up all day....

Another guy who doesn't understand the concept of playing LB. Someone has to take on that lead blocker and it's usually the first guy in the hole.

Good linebackers,*cough* Lavonte David......Avoid blockers by using their speed or blowing the fullback up.......

And averaged 3.6ypc. I'll take that. The Bucs only had 258 total yards and 16 points. I'll take that. We're not built to be a defensive juggernaut. The defense played well enough to win.

Sigh... TB Bucs fans, the Wake Forest fans of the NFL. You only hear from them once a decade or so, but let them win a game or two and they act like they own your ass.

Luke would have had his first sack if he hadn't been held. Since it was called, as it turns out it was just as good as a sack.

There were some plays by Luke that were not so great. But as others have said, he is a rookie and just played his first game. Give it a little time.

One other comment...I really don't understand the apparent joy some people take because a player they didn't like coming out of the draft didn't have a great game. You claim you are Panthers fans, but I swear some of you would rather see a loss just to say, "look at me, I was right".

He got outjumped by short Doug Martin. 6'7'' big frame Jimmy Graham should be a piece of cake to Clark Kent.

He didn't jump at all, he was running with his back to the ball. Did you just read about the play or listen on the radio?

He's a rookie for fugs sake.
