This team needs an injection of a fuging viagra. Vanilla defense and shitty playing calling is ruining talent on this team. We got all our core players locked up for the next 3 years... after that almost half will become free agents and we will go into rebuilding mod yet again. Rivera and the rest of the coaching staff should be accountable for this shitty performance. No more excuses, u either do your job or get the fug out.

It's pretty scary that we have all our core players locked up for the next three years. A lot of those core players are pretty mediocre. I hope we aren't mediocre for the next three years. We sure looked mediocre today.

Well, we had ALL of those guys that the mass of this forum repeated ad-nausea were going to improve our defensive output tenfold.

Safe to say defense still has a long way to go in being respectable again.

Hmm, yes it was the defense that allowed 1 touchdown and 3 2 driving field goals and forced a field goal on a drive that started in the redzone that caused us to lose today.

/obvioussarcasm

FYI the Bucs we destroyed on Christmas last year scored the same points that day as the Bucs did today.

The Bucs stopped being aggressive, obviously.

I mean you could literally see the playcalling change for the Bucs around the 3rd quarter. It was painful to see them pull the Fox card on US!

If you consider Godfrey a core player, he is mediocre.

I say CJ is good but not great.

Yea because a 6 point lead = lets stop being aggressive.

The Bucs sucked, our defense was improved, admit it, move on.

The Bucs numbers were pathetic on offense.

Our O-line was only reason we lost.

10 rushing yards.

Yep, the O-line is exactly why this team lost.

Judging from today's performance, mediocrity is a long-term, perhaps unattainable, goal for this coaching staff.

I felt like the defense; while decent; was vanilla too. The pressure was there on Freeman from the front four at times, but there were no exotic or creative blitzes.

We didn't give up a lot of points b/c Schiano didn't try to score alot of points. He got a lead, and went safe ball control style offense.

A better, more aggressive offense will have an easier time putting up points against us I think if we only are rushing four 80% of the game or 90% of the game like today.

Brees and Eli will need to see something that is a bit wackier. And it goes without saying that Cam and the offense will need to be ready to score and score and score.

I'm glad that we're at home the next two weeks.

The lack of logic in this post is mind boggling...

Of course Shiano didn't have to score a lot of freakin points, OUR OFFENSE PUT UP 10.
