Bump....not really. Just helped make my point.

Williams without Stewart in the Chud era.

2 games.

Week 1 - 10 TOTAL offensive points
Week 3 - 7 TOTAL offensive points

ain't about what we should be doing, about what we are trying to be.

with Stewart
Week 2 - 35 TOTAL offensive points
2011- 25 pt average

Stewart comes back for Atl...offense comes alive.....as usual.

this all could be just a coincidence.

stewart could come back against atlanta and the panthers can fall flat still...

...then again, they could put up 40 points.

Well, I don't think people can argue Stewart fits the college scheme better. Snaps last season despite Williams getting a mega extension support that as well.

Points will be back. Not just about what he does with his carries either....about how he helps simply open it all up

Gladly will....just let the games support Stewart not being the key RB in this system.

You know Williams had a good game

11 for 50 is good.

As I said, it is more than just what Stewart does with his carries....about how he impacts the defensive play and what it opens up for everyone else.

7 pts is what we had Thur night. Williams doesn't impact the opposing D and open up the offense. It is why Williams had more carries than Stewart last year....but Stewart played more snaps. Read option isn't just about RB yards.

I'll judge when I see what Stewart can do in THIS offense as an every down back. It would be quite interesting to see what kind of yards from scrimmage he could get with 25-30 touches/game. We've already seen dwill alone now I think it'd stewy's turn.

Both losses we played against a disciplined and talented defensive team. Both of them had atleast two possession leads. Both had mutiple turnovers. Stewart absence is not the reason this offence is failing as bad as is.
