Why does Rivera need to prove to you or me that he cares?

Oh man I don't know maybe because we fans saw a team that flatout hardly cared when the ball was kicked off yesterday.

I wanted ron to get pissed

I'm sure he is pissed. Behind closed doors they got an earful of Rivera.

Why do people forget about how he raged at practice and made them all do it all over again, how he basically barked at the players for not giving effort?

Do people forget these things quickly or is it selective memory? You only choose to remember what you want to remember?

Well, I hope the team gets another effort speech from Ron. Even though one would believe you should even give speeches like that maybe once or twice before getting the message.

Only quiet coach to ever been successful is Tony Dungy. And the dude had a guy named Peyton Manning for years.

RR and Leslie Frazier = Poo

RR: "there's next week"

Frazier: "we played well"

I didn't care for "there's always next week" when I heard it initially and I care for it even less now.

We didn't lose yesterday because we were hopelessly out-gunned and made the best effort we could. We lost because our team was unprepared for the game and our gameplan was either terrible or abandoned way too early. These are things that, as the head coach, should be so far up his ass they can see out his mouth and he should be pissed about them.

If he is then would it really hurt to let a little of that show in his presser?

Shades of "it is what it is" to me.

It's a long season.

While we were all expecting a win, it was week one, and it's not the end of the season.

We deserve better than sugar coating and silver lining. The team played like dog poo. When the head coach can't acknowledge how bad his team played it costs him his credibility.

This team will flounder under Rivera.

Coaching decisions are at the best of times okay and at the worst of times awful.

My prediction, anyway. Hope I'm wrong.
