I'm glad you pointed out Munnerlyn. For all the hate he receives on a daily basis from many on this board (myself included), he played well and should be commended for it.

He very well may revert back to sucking next week, but he was far from being a weak spot on our defense this past sunday.

Rivera said yesterday that we suffered "no injuries" - that is a positive

Captain and the best game of all the secondary. Classic new season unfolding.....whatever you are worried about....it is normally something you are confident that becomes the worry.

Captain looked good making plays in the middle of the field and close to the LOS. That's where he's best. Keep Norman at #2 and we should see this continue to improve.

Now, as to the ST blunder...

I was just on nfl.com and noticed something very important!

http://espn.go.com/n...osition/defense

We are tied for 5th place in total defense (Yards per game) and 1st in the division.

We are tied for 6th in points. 2nd in the division.

That catch by Murphy was a thing of beauty.

I still think we are the better team. Had the Bucs given us that many opportunities to blow them out at home, we would have made good on it. Wasn't our proudest moment, however it could have been a lot worse. Looking forward to a home game to build morale. Saints* are in trouble!!!!!

The fact that the defense looks improved is a huge positive. If we had a mediocre defense last season we would have won at least three more games. Now we just need the offense to get back to last years form and we can win some games.
