At least there is some good news with the looming lockout. Glad to see this. Excited to see what this guy can do. Could really go a long way if he can fill hole created when Sutter was traded.

For those of you who don't know who Welsh is. Canes signed him at end of last season as a college free agent. Essentially got a free first round pick who is potentially NHL ready. He lit up the NCAA tourney last year. Very exciting potential with a large frame.
