boring.........same ole same ole.....I already know the agenda, it has been restated over and over again. It is purely political, nothing else, a play to be in power, to be in control. A play that most of the time unless you are extremely wealthy, doesn't really speak to your interest. But, marketing can smooth everything over, and in fact spin your beliefs to their side. Boring, both parties are shat, but the beliefs that you people that are staunch in your beliefs hold, is just idioditic....

UPDATE: “With or without a weapon, Marines are always armed,” Pentagon spokesman George Little said Thursday afternoon. “I’ve heard nothing to suggest they don’t have ammunition.”
Senior U.S. officials decline to discuss it, but it’s clear there were no U.S. Marines protecting U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and his beleaguered staff at the Benghazi consulate Tuesday night. Marines are routinely posted to U.S. diplomatic outposts around the world, but the “interim” facility in Benghazi apparently was defended only by a handful of U.S. security officers and local hires. The Marines have let it be known that the two unidentified U.S. officials who died at Benghazi were not Marines.
As any Marine’ll tell you, if there had been Marines at Benghazi, they’d be among those killed.

I don't know why you felt compelled to quote this again but it's been proven to be false at this point.

Eight Americans, some from the military, were wounded in the attack which claimed the lives of Mr Stevens, Sean Smith, an information officer, and two US Marines.

It's looking more and more like this was a planned terrorist attack (in Libya)

http://www.independe...on-8135797.html

Senior officials are increasingly convinced, however, that the ferocious nature of the Benghazi attack, in which rocket-propelled grenades were used, indicated it was not the result of spontaneous anger due to the video, called Innocence of Muslims. Patrick Kennedy, Under-Secretary at the State Department, said he was convinced the assault was planned due to its extensive nature and the proliferation of weapons.

There is growing belief that the attack was in revenge for the killing in a drone strike in Pakistan of Mohammed Hassan Qaed, an al-Qa'ida operative who was, as his nom-de-guerre Abu Yahya al-Libi suggests, from Libya, and timed for the anniversary of the 11 September attacks.

One question, I honestly don't know... do muslims worship Allah and Mohamed?

Wissam Buhmeid, the commander of the Tripoli government-sanctioned Libya's Shield Brigade, effectively a police force for Benghazi, maintained that it was anger over the Mohamed video which made the guards abandon their post. "There were definitely people from the security forces who let the attack happen because they were themselves offended by the film; they would absolutely put their loyalty to the Prophet over the consulate. The deaths are all nothing compared to insulting the Prophet."

Sounds to me that the film was just a good excuse to start riots to mask the attack.

There are also rumors that the State Dept was warned of an impending attack prior to it... and that they have lost sensitive documents in Libya showing the names of Libyans who were helping us... this just seems to get worse and worse.

Meanwhile, back in the U.S., the press is still thinking the top story is that Mitt Romney had an opinion on the whole mess. Not the mess itself.

Because the math is wrong if 2 marines were killed.

http://www.foxnews.c...-attack-victim/

3 named victims plus 2 unnamed marines is 5 dead.. add in the fact the version of the story with marines involved has the retriving the body from the embassy while its been reported they picked it up at the airport. Whats more likely a group of marines were flown in to help in the middle or the chaos or the former seals contracted to find man portable surface to air missles for the state department happended to be at an embassy?

The points of confusion right now boil down to the fight at the annex (where 2 americans were killed and 30 were wounded. Who helped drive off the attackers (protesters dont use rpg's) some reports have elements of the security force and some have an outside response team including marines.
The second point is what happened at the embassey after we managed to get our people out (except the envoy) The cause of death wont be determined until an autopsey has been performed so thats in doubt and we cant account for his whereabouts for an 8 hour timeframe.

Your reading comprehension is failing you. It just said that the dead "included" which doesn't mean that the persons listed were a complete list.

The body was found at the embassy by locals and then returned to US personnel at the airport, after unsuccessful attempts at being revived.

I think most of the civilized world likes having a strong US and hates seeing us get a black eye. I would agree however that they should be providing more of their own defense.

We already have confirmed number from the state department sir 4 dead. We have 3 names given. 1 Comm Manager 1 former seal and 1 envoy. I understand the reports. It is a pity you can't add sir.

If you wish to provide a link showing updated death tolls we can talk however the links naming the victims have already been posted.

Also stated was the fact the comm manager and the envoy were killed at 1 location and the other 2 (the seal and the 1 unnamed) died at the secondary site. Where the 30 people were wounded.

somebody explained this morning on NPR that Obama gets his intel briefings personally... he reads them himself... as such, they rarely even have the meetings...bush was the one that started demanding meeting and having everything be read to him.

anybody who think POTUS is ignoring his intel reports at ANY time, let alone during a time of crisis is a freaking idiot.
