During ron riveras presser yesterday he mentioned the passing of panthers linebacker onatulu's mother and being a person myself that also lost a parent at a young age i know what hes going through. Prayers go out to him and the rest of his family.

condolences to him and his family.

also I would like to point out the lack of posts here. It speaks to the character of people on this site that so few people would even take the time to write a sentence of condolences. Had this been a star player this forum would be a collection of tears, and affection. Selfish affection that is predicated on this persons ability to play a game. It truly is a shame that out of 100+ views 2 people commented and one thought it better to take a shot at religion rather than recognize and show concern for a player that is undoubtedly hurting.

I hope for the best for him. It always sucks to hear someone lose a mother/father, and I hope he uses it as motivation throughout the season. R.I.P. Mrs. Onatulu.

What disrespect. You're an asshole. Lose your mom at a young age and see how much you would like to know someone saying something like that.

My prayers go out to him and his family.

Hey asshole, he has just as much right to be an atheist as you have to be a christian. Regardless of the recent falsehoods people are spewing, our country was founded on the principle of religious freedom. Im a Christian, Im just not a dick about it.

Both of you are missing the entire point of the gesture. Praying for someone, while it might not be for everybody, is a symbol of compassion and concern. A person that does not believe in prayer can accomplish the same thing by simply extending their own words of compassion and concern.

Please try to act like mature adults, at the very least out of respect for the departed.

I'll be praying for both Kenny and his family. I know this has to be tough. I can't imagine losing my mother.
