Safety first or...ANY D-LINEMAN FROM LSU

This Star fellow seems like he's a lot more worried about pushing his man into the backfield than he is about shedding said lineman to tackle the tailback blowing right past him.

More of SS, but Matt Elam looked really good yesterday vs LSU. He was everywhere on the field making plays.

I love Matt Elam!!!!

We gotta upgrade both safety positions. Godfrey is not going to cut it. Unless we finds a real SS and move Godfrey back to FS.

It makes much more sense to keep Godfrey at his better position at SS and find a FS. But if we do draft Elam, there'd be some shifting.

Cut Godfrey. SS is his better position, but is he the answer there for us? No. Cut him, but thats not likely to happen.

I have been saying we need a safety all along but after todays game I have realized how badly we need to draft the best receiver in the class. It's brutally obvious. Will be hard to pass on an elite safety if one is there.

If we can somehow get Star Lutolelei and Matt Elam in this next draft, there might be hope for our defense in the future.
