WR Steve Smith and RB Jonathan Stewart are listed as questionable, but Rivera thinks Smith will play Sunday vs. Saints*.

They will both play....I think Smitty has to be not breathing to miss this game.

I think Smitty will play.

Stew I'm less convinced.

If either has significant risk of lost playing time the rest of the season I'd rather they didn't. I'll cut myself repeatedly if we lose but I'd rather not win this game on the back of two players who worsened injuries.

Hopefully both are well enough to go.

"Stewart (ankle) participated fully in practice again on Friday. Smith (knee) battled soreness yesterday but Rivera said he had a good practice."

If they both practiced, I think they will both play.

I'd rather rest Stewart until we know he's ok for sure. No sense in rushing him back if he's still not healthy. Sprained ankles take a long time to heal. I've sprained both ankles before (separately) and it took me way longer than 3 weeks to heal. We all know those dirty Saints** players would be diving for stews ankle too

They'll both play. Not liking being banged up again only going into week 2.

I never realized until last week just how important J Stew is to our team. I always knew he was a great back, but man... we looked pitiful.

Come on, Stew. You're services are rather critical.

Does anyone think our Offensive line has anything for the Saints* D after what they showed against Tampa? I sure hope for Cam's sake they do...

We can't down 0-2 in the division....Stewart needs to play.

Stewart plays well banged up. Smitty will play
