It was really loud on that last TD that they gave the Saints****. I was right on the goal line in club under the overhang with a perfect view. It looked to all of us like Brees was stopped well short. What did the replay show that gave them the evidence to uphold that call?
Overall, a great game and a much needed WIN. It is a shame that tens of thousands didn't show up. I didn't notice any rain but a few light sprinkles. Nothing like the Jags game last year, that's for sure.

I have NEVER heard it that loud on TV. The rowdy fans must have showed up.
They did. Even in the silver seats the "wine and cheesers" were making noise, yelling, and banging empty seats. More than a few needed to be cut off at the end of 3rd too!

If the official can clearly see that the call is correct then they say "confirmed"
If the official doesn't have enough evidence to change his call then they say "stands"

Loved watching the game on TV today. Was just steamed to see so many empty seats. People showing up late and leaving early. That game deserved more. I'll be in my seat early for the Giants and I'll stay late. Let's be a factor on Thursday.
Why weren't you at the game instead of watching it on TV?

I go to a couple a season but it's a pretty expensive day out. It is definitely a long term goal of mine to be a PSL owner but I can't yet. That's really not relevant to this topic. The game DID sell out so people other than myself DID have the money to attend. They chose not to for whatever reasons.
We aren't talking about statistical outliers. A large fraction of seats were empty today.
