Steve Smith injury mid game

For those of us who have to watch Panthers games at bars with no audio can you tell us why Steve went out for a while? Also were there any comments on whether injuries were affecting his play? Those guys had angles on him but I was hoping he would run it back on that blown coverage reception.

Just a cramp as far as I heard.

I wonder if the cramp was slowing him down. That long pass would have been a TD five years ago.

I knew it was a cramp as soon as I saw him go down and start kicking/shaking his leg. That crap hurts like crazy.

Despite Smitty's cramping, he was able to go over 100 yards receiving for the 2nd game in a row. I sense another pro bowl type year for #89 in 2012. :)

Smith is da man... I can't believe that the Saints* were manning up on him a good bit. I'm glad that it was just cramps...
