There's nothing about Nakamura to like. He's a dirty player great on special teams but terrible at safety.

I wasn't impressed with Nakamura during pre-season, and felt like either he or Martin could start because neither earned it. Yet after that judo move, he earned the spot for the rest of the year. B)

He's a poor mans Chris Harris. Chris was slow but at least he could tackle.

I like Nakamura. There are just some guys you want on your team to bring an edge. Skillwise they might not be elite, but they bring it every down. Gotta remember defense is a unit. They play together and everyone is accountable. Brees checks down and gets pressured is because everyone is doing their job.

If I'm not mistaken he makes the adjustments for the secondary. That alone is very valuable seeing how they contained Brees. **** are good at math.

Sweet throw, I thought we'd get a penalty for it but we didn't.

Similarly, I thought LaFell was flagged when the saints were called for PI on Smith near the goalline. LaFell came clapping over and a ref on screen clearly thought it was taunting. LaFell saved his own ass without knowing it by just giving a pat on the head to the DB which probably cleared it up that he was just clapping for his team. Got to watch out for these refs, they don't understand intent, they only understand actions.
