umm, Goodson had 1 rush for -6 yards. he had 3 rec for 88 yards and 1 TD. 64 of which came on his TD play. Not trying to put him down in any way but really his whole statline was on 1 play. I still say great move by the front office dumping the guy. Dontae Rosario however, wasnt dumped because he couldnt catch the ball, he was dumped because he cant block and on a running team, the TE has to be able to block.

they aren't wearing a panthers jersey anymore. i don't really care.

i think we did the right thing in letting them go, tho.

And recently released Robert McClain had an impressive int last night with a good return.

I noticed this too. I really don't know why we let him go, and it pisses me off he signed with Atlanta...

He got cut a year ago this month. Not sure if i'd call that recent.

Thinking you may be mixing him up with Terrell.

I think we stay too long with most players. Sometimes a different situation means the world. Just ask Evan Mathias.

Was it really that long ago? I thought I remembered seeing him play towards the end of last season.

Yep, I had totally forgotten about him.

In 2011 he was with the Jaguars less than a month in December, recorded no stats for the year. Just signed with Atlanta recently I suppose, can't find the date he signed on.

Are you kidding me? Come on. Just because cut players score TD's for other teams does not mean we should have kept them around. Olsen is way better than Rosario, come on man! And goodsoon? He took a swing/screen to the house. We all knew he was fast, but he was not touched. Garbage thread.

they score one td and you question our front office's decision to keep them?

I think the goodson trade was very good for both organizations. both players show a lot of potential but have their own set of issues keeping them from superstars (for now at least). both teams needed solid backups at said positions with upside.

pretty sure rosario benefited from nobody knew who he was. since gates wasn't playing I think Tennessee just sort of ignored him and didn't roll the amount of coverage toward him that you need for gates. rosario didn't really dominate the game, sure he scored 3 TDs but he only had 4 catches total for 48 yards.
