Nucky and Chalky teamed up with Capone's gang against Gyp Rosetti, meanwhile Richard the war vet sniper is going to go full Taxi Driver on the whorehouse...
The final couple scenes last night were great, with him pulling out all his weaponry from under the bed and carefully arranging it. Then Capone shows up with Nucky's brother just back from Chicago and says,
"We've been on the road for 18 hours. I need a bath, some chow and then you and me sit down and we talk about who dies."

I absolutely love this show. I was worried how it would be without Jimmy but it's held its own. If only Margaret could stay away, forever, it would be perfect.
I really hope Richard doesn't die but I feel like this is going to be his swan song. Not sure we see Van Alden again. There is SOOO many memorable characters on this show it's not even funny. Only other show I've ever cared about characters as much was The Wire.
I like how Nucky finally realizes how he's been wrong for so long in not realizing what he has already around him (life lesson for a lot of us). Eddie being loyal to the death to taking care of Nucky, and Nucky not even knowing he had a wife and kids. Chalky being loyal to a fault, even when it would have been much easier to take the $20k from Gyp and be done with it, since Nucky slighted him the earlier episode. I like how the writers gave Chalky some depth by not taking that personal. Nucky needs to realize Chalky is his best ally and help him out whenever, club and all.
I've even taken a liking to Eli this season.

Did I not say Richard was going to go "Taxi Driver" in the whorehouse? The stage was set for next season with the Feds again getting involved with the distillery in PA, Arnold Rothstein, etc.
I think Van Alden will show up again- character is simply too off-center to disappear.
By the way, the real character in NJ was named Nucky Johnson- read his story. Aside from a few artistic licenses, this show pretty much follows the real history of Atlantic City. Gyp Rosetti was a totally fictional character... one of the few.
