Injury report, not looking good for Stewart or Bell

Steve Reed

Thomas Davis is questionable but likely to play, Rivera said. Steve Smith is probable and will play. Ryan Kalil and Jon Beason probable.1:04pm - 19 Sep 12

I'd be worried about Stewart and Bell the most as neither practiced. Not having Stewart could hurt run game against a physical Giants D.1:07pm - 19 Sep 12

Garry Williams would likely get the start if Byron Bell can't play. He missed last season on IR.1:08pm - 19 Sep 12

Hearing the Panthers might be interested in LB Aaron Curry, but Philadelphia, Green Bay & Seattle could also be potential landing spots.

Lord help Cam if Garry Williams starts.

I'm worried about both not playing. Bell has been solid in two games so far...

Stew will play, the bucs game was the first he has missed. Not sure about bell, he has never been hurt before.

I have a feeling JStew will play and that they're just being careful with him... ankles are easy to re-injure, esp with him running, jumping and cutting...

No idea about Bell, but I hope he's able to go too...

If they can go Thursday, they'll have an extra 3 days to recover before the next game.

Stewart more important than Bell....Stewart and his physical running will help the OL out

I wish I was more optimistic. If both don't play all bets are off.

BTW, sounds like Stewart's issue is a toe, not the ankle, although Rivera says it's all related.1:10pm - 19 Sep 12
