My iphone 4 nearly ground to a halt right after my update but seems okay now.

The new apple mapping is a step down from google maps in the small amount I've played with it. It loads faster when you are panning around, but is missing details that google maps used to show, like greenways.

I was pretty excited about passbook, but it doesn't seem nearly as powerful as I was led to believe.

they won't make you, but your apps will become less and less useful.

I have an Ipod Touch 4th gen. I'll update after an untethered jailbreak is released.

It says the update is 696MB, yet says I need 2.5gb free on my 4s to download and install? What is the deal with that? Between music and apps Ive got like maybe 1.3gb available.

I got an alert message that popped up asking me if I wanted to upgrade for the last one. Prior to that, I had to be plugged into iTunes.

My phone (4) didn't like the last upgrade very much, apps crash constantly. I'm hoping that goes away with this one.

Try doing it through your iTunes on PC or Mac... I had the same problem. I think the downloads are the whole operating system, not just a patch, so your phone has to have room for both the old and new one until after installing. Try it through your computer, it worked that way for me.

Update is very nice... Loving it on my iPhone & iPad. Glad the iPad finally got an alarm.

I hate the new podcast app. Apple fixed something that wasn't broken.
